After all the high cholesterol binge we've all been on over Christmas, I am certain some of our bodies are in shock. Some people I know have been "irregular" since the season started. These days I am buying into the water and fruit first thing in the morning but an hour after that, here's my breakfast carb recipe:
Warm Oatmeal for ONE
1/3 cup raw oatmeal
1 cup water
1 shot prune juice
1 tsp. brown sugar
*Put oatmeal and water in ceramic bowl, cover and microwave on high for 1 minute (Do not over microwave or it will all spill over). Bowl will be HOT. Add prune juice, sugar and stir--let it cool a little. You can halve this recipe if 1/3 cup is too much.
